Only $2.50 per ticket 29 /01 /08 Tonight the Fitzroy Stars were voted overwhelmingly to be admitted into the NFL. They will replace the bye on the fixtures and play their home games at Reservoirs ground for the 2008 season while their ground is brought up to standard. The league is going to three divisions from 2009, Div 1 x 10 teams, Div 2 x 8 teams (the top 8 teams from this years ladder) & Div 3 x 6 plus teams. Great to see Dozer at training last week, Not bad as he jogged all the way from Mill Park, Keep it up. If any one knows of someone having a fire sale we need around 50 sturdy chair's for the club rooms at a good price of course. Team managers, and officials NEEDED to help out on game days. 21 / 01 / 08 Great news for the Mernda FC This year the Mernda FC will be fielding an u/17's and u/19's along with the younger age groups. So if your between 6 & 19 years old and want to play footy Mernda is the place to be. Training for the younger teams will start early March or late February, Keep viewing for update's Don't forget the Mernda u/19's are the Div 2 Reigning Premiers.

06 / 01 / 2008 Hello to everyone hope you enjoyed your little break, but now it's time to get fair dinkum about your footy and get to training Wednesday 16th Jan 6pm for the Senior's. Monday's and Wednesday night's while the cricket is on. Junior's around the end of Feb or start of March TBA. 30 / 12 /2007 Well 2007 is almost over and things are looking very good for 2008. With the recent rain the ground has a nice cover of green lush grass and with the forecast for more rain in the coming months the season looks set to start on April 5th. As always we need your help on game day's with Team Managers, Time Keeper's, Umpires Escort, Interchange Stewart and Water People. All position's are open to male and female's and no experience necessary as we will show you everything you need to know. All job can be done while you watch the game and the game can't go on without your help, that include both junior and senior games.. Contact anyone at the club or send you query's to shane@merndafc.com Don't forget we need sellers and buyer for the 2008 boat raffle.
